The game’s flagship monster, Arkveld, with its chain-like appendages, plays a crucial role in your adventure. Although some of you may have faced Arkveld during the second Open Beta Test, there’s still plenty more to uncover about the creature known as “The White Wraith.”

Without a doubt, no Monster Hunter game would be complete without a comeback from fan-favorite creatures. Prepare to face familiar foes with new behaviors and twists within the expansive and unique world of Monster Hunter Wilds. Seasoned players, brace yourselves for some thrilling engagements!

Experience the pinnacle of action in the Monster Hunter series with a new Focus Mode that brings added depth to weaponry, allowing you to strategically aim, reposition, and execute devastating Focus Strikes to damage and destroy monster wounds. This takes place in an expansive, seamless world across numerous locales, minimizing loading screens.

Your trusty Seikret mount will be your loyal companion as you navigate the treacherous terrain of the Forbidden Lands. Its ability to swiftly traverse, evade monster attacks, and carry useful items as well as an alternative weapon will be invaluable to your hunts.

You’ll also encounter a vibrant cast of characters, including Alma, your handler; Gemma, the smithy; and a mysterious young boy named Nata. Each fellow member of the Forbidden Lands Expedition Team brings unique personalities and backstories to the table, deepening your immersive experience.

To everyone who participated in the recent Open Beta Test, thank you for joining the hunt! The team is diligently refining the final game, updating and adjusting based on your invaluable feedback. Expect improvements in attack responsiveness, significant weapon changes, and more polished performance.

On the performance side, PS5 players can choose from three graphical modes: a Resolution mode at 30 FPS, a Balanced mode at 40 FPS perfect for 120hz displays, and a Framerate mode delivering smooth gameplay at 60 FPS. Each mode utilizes the PS5’s advanced features to elevate your experience.
