Okay, so Capcom is up to something big again. They’re teasing us with this new Spotlight thingy happening next Thursday, June 26. I swear, these guys know how to keep us hanging. There’s even a teaser trailer — most of it’s just flashes and vague promises, but still, enough to get fans buzzing.
Now, here’s something that might pique your interest. Remember Pragmata? It’s Capcom’s first fresh IP since Exoprimal popped up in 2023. (No idea why I remember the exact year, but it stuck.) Anyway, Pragmata was supposed to come out way before Exoprimal but got delayed… usual game dev drama. It’s now penciled in for 2026. People raving about it at the Summer Game Fest 2025 say the combat’s, like, a blast.
Oh! And don’t even get me started on the new Resident Evil. They’re calling it Requiem. Feels like they’re always coming up with these intense names. Just heard about it at Summer Game Fest. This one’s got a new character — Grace Ashcroft, some FBI agent. There’s this whole mystery at a hotel. Her mom died there eight years ago, supposedly under weird circumstances. All very dramatic. We’re back in Raccoon City, which is apparently still looking pretty post-destruction after what went down in Resident Evil 3. Here’s a twist: you can toggle between first and third person while playing. That’s kind of cool, right? Anyway, February 2026 is when they’re dropping it.
So yeah, I guess we just wait impatiently now.
