So, guess what? 2K and Gearbox are finally spilling the beans about Borderlands 4. Yeah, it’s gonna hit the Nintendo Switch 2 sometime later this year. Crazy, right? Anyway, they’re talking up this whole big plan for stuff they’re gonna throw at us once the game’s out. Free stuff and, well, the stuff you gotta pay for too.
They’re hinting at two fresh face Vault Hunters. Oh, and some new spots on Kairos or something along those lines. More missions to get lost in, new challenges to make you question your sanity, gnarly enemies to take a swing at… You get the drift. The real juicy deets? Well, we’re gonna have to wait a bit for those. Classic, right?
So, you land on Kairos, this planet where everything’s out to get you. You’re one of four Vault Hunters – and just between you and me, it’s all about cash and fame. There’s this guy, the Timekeeper. Sounds like a pain. He’s got his claws in everything, running the show with some ‘perfect Order’. Meanwhile, chaos is just waiting to blow the whole thing sky-high.
You throw down against mechanical nightmares, bandits thirsty for your blood, and beasts you probably only see in, well, nightmares. Collect a smorgasbord of weapons (seriously, it’s like a deadly buffet) and use those Action Skills to mess up Kairos in style.
Whether you’re lone-wolfing it or rolling in a squad of four, there’s loads to dive into. Think battles where you’re basically dancing with chaos, boss fights that’ll get your heart pounding, loot that never seems to end, and characters you won’t forget. Some new, some old – bit of nostalgia maybe?
So mark your calendars or whatever. Borderlands 4 is gonna be up for grabs in 2025, whether you’re hitting up the stores or grabbing it online in the eShop. Feels like it can’t come soon enough, doesn’t it?
