During The Game Awards, the announcement of an Okami sequel was made. Capcom confirmed, “We have set the wheels in motion for a new Okami project. Speculation about a sequel had been floating around for years. We first caught wind of the possibility when Ikumi Nakamura mentioned her plans to propose a follow-up to Capcom.
