Sure thing, here we go:

So, guess what? PlayStation Studios just got a new member of the family, and it’s TeamLFG, straight outta Bungie. Yep, that Bungie. Hermen Hulst, the big boss over at Sony Interactive, spills the beans. It all started as this little project at Bungie, you know, like a science fair experiment that turned into a whole new gig. Now they’re ready to show the world what they’ve cooked up. Exciting, right?
Anyway, on the PlayStation Blog, TeamLFG gets a bit poetic. They’re on this mission—games that make you feel like part of the crew. You log in, and your pals are already chilling. It’s like walking into your favorite local café and seeing all the regulars. They want those epic moments, those inside jokes… like that one time during a giant boss battle when someone did that crazy move that no one thought would work—and then it did.
Now, what’s up their sleeve first? Well, they’re cooking up this team-based action thing. Think fighting games meet platformers, with a dash of… frog-type games. Yeah, your guess is as good as mine on that last bit. It’s gonna be this whole new crazy sci-fi universe vibe. Laughter and all that jazz. But, erm, no word on where or when you can actually play it yet.
Back when Bungie gave us a sneak peek last summer, they were hiring all sorts of folks to join in. They were shouting out for diverse voices—and trying to nail that Bungie action magic. You know, the excitement you feel when you’re completely sucked into the game? Yeah, that.
TeamLFG’s all about creating these worlds you can get lost in, mastering as you go. Sounds a bit like what Bungie did with Destiny 2, but also… not? It’s gonna be different. Hopefully in a good way.
Oh, fun fact! Sony shelled out $3.6 billion for Bungie back in 2022 but said they could still do their own thing, kinda. But now, they’re cozying up closer to Sony. Like when you say you’re just friends, then you start showing up at the same parties. The shift included moving a bunch of folks to Sony Interactive. That move birthed TeamLFG.
Bungie’s still fussing over Destiny 2. More expansions coming! And remember Marathon? That’s dropping in September. Things are busy at Bungie HQ, it seems.
