With the release almost upon us, I couldn’t be more thrilled to delve into the fascinating new features enhanced for PC that the team at Nixxes has worked tirelessly to perfect.

The buzz of ray-traced reflections will catch your eye as you whip around the skyscraper-laden cityscape of Marvel’s New York. Not to mention, we offer options like ray-traced interiors, shadows, and ambient occlusion that contribute an added layer of realism with lifelike shadows and depth.

For those among you wielding top-tier PCs, there’s more in store! You can utilize our enhanced ray tracing geometry detail setting. This enables the deployment of superior mesh quality for ray tracing, resulting in more intricate and authentic reflections. Plus, the ray tracing object range slider increases the range for object consideration in ray tracing. Additionally, the game on PC supports NVIDIA DLSS Ray Reconstruction, enhancing ray tracing quality on compatible hardware. “NVIDIA DLSS Ray Reconstruction is designed to sharpen ray tracing features by merging two temporal processes in a frame: the denoising of ray tracing features and the upscaling of the entire frame. By integrating these steps, ray reconstruction retains more useful details across frames, enhancing the intricacy of ray tracing effects that might otherwise be overlooked.

In Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 on PC with this feature enabled, there’s a notable enhancement in the detail of ray-traced reflections and shadow clarity, especially noticeable when viewing effects from oblique angles. Improvements extend to ray-traced interiors and reduced ghosting and noise in ambient occlusion. We’ve implemented two NVIDIA Ray Reconstruction models: the original model introduced in DLSS 3.5 and an updated version designed for RTX 40 series GPUs and newer, leading to an overall more stable temporal image and further upping visual quality.”
