Sure thing. Here’s my take on rewriting this piece, complete with some of my own quirks and hiccups in writing. Hold on tight:
So, you remember that PS5 game everyone was all hyped about? Yeah, the one by the dude who made BioShock, Ken Levine. It had a name — Judas. Cool name, right? Anyway, people were glued to the idea, waiting and all. But guess what? Just kinda… quietly slipped past its launch date, like an overdue library book you totally forgot about. Nobody’s really heard a peep from Ghost Story Games or Take-Two Interactive — the folks behind it.
And here’s a juicy tidbit: Judas was supposed to grace our PS5 screens by March 2025. But, plot twist, there was zilch announcement about the delay. What’s strange is that just earlier this year, I remember Take-Two’s CEO, Strauss… uh, Zelnick? Yeah, he seemed all sure about hitting that date. February 2023, I think, he chatted with IGN, saying they’d stick to the schedule. Then again, delays are like that one friend who’s always late to dinner.
Oh, and did you catch this? The big guns announced GTA 6 won’t make its 2025 debut either — said it’s now pushed to May 2026. But oddly, nothing about Judas. Weird, right?
Speaking of the game (or the lack thereof), there’s this Bloomberg guy, Jason Schreier. He spilled the beans last year about Judas being stuck in development hell. Apparently, Levine’s leadership might be causing the team to burn out. Sounds messy, doesn’t it? With hardly any whispers about Judas lately, I’m starting to think — will it ever see daylight, or was it just a mirage in a gamer’s desert?
Ah, who knows. But for now, scratch it off the list and keep an eye out. The gaming world’s full of surprises, after all!
