I have to say, this week’s show was kinda all over the place. Casey took a rain check, which left the rest of us scrambling, kinda like when you’re trying to catch a chicken with one shoe on—or, maybe that’s just me. Anyway, without Casey, we got into some weird territory. Alex showed up, thankfully, though I swear it’s not related to any legal issues (I think I heard that on a podcast somewhere, which means it’s probably wrong).
Now that I think about it, we went on this bizarre ride you’d find in a theme park run by cats. Or not. Who knows? One minute we were geeking over the next Switch, like it’s Christmas but with more buttons, and then BAM, before you knew it, we dove headfirst into Xenoblade Chronicles X and the future whatever-it’s-called—Future Redeemed! That’s the one! Those games, man, all epic and twisty. But I digress.
We also talked Ghost Trick. Remember that game? It’s like if your old Game Boy got a stylish new haircut. And then, suddenly, we were knee-deep in Pokemon cards. The nostalgia hits weird, like smelling Play-Doh after 20 years. Before I lose my point—if I ever had one—there’s this massive stinger tucked in at the end of the episode. Seriously, it feels like it eats up half the runtime, but you’ll love it. Probably.
