Okay, so Sony’s back at it—teasing us last month with State of Play and now dropping the real deal on Ghost of Yōtei. This time, it’s a full-on, 20-minute gameplay frenzy. Atsu’s on this wild revenge quest, and apparently, she’s got some nifty new gizmos to play with. I mean, who doesn’t love a bit of personalization at Japan’s edges? Special modes in games are like surprise parties for your brain, aren’t they? Anyway, more stuff, which I totally dig.
Mark your calendars or set your reminders—whichever floats your boat—for Thursday, July 10. It’s happening at 2 p.m. if you’re on the Pacific side, 5 p.m. over on the East Coast, 10 p.m. in good old BST, or somewhere in there for Europe. Apparently, this whole thing’s streaming on PlayStation’s Twitch and YouTube. No cables required. Convenience much?
So, last time Sony threw us a State of Play curveball, it was like summer without E3, but still with surprises. Who knew Pragmata was alive and kicking? Aiming for 2026, like, come on, can’t it be sooner? Plus, they tossed out dates for stuff like Sword of the Sea—pretty epic title—and Baby Steps. Oh, and if you’re into fighting games, Arc System Works rolled out Marvel’s 4v4 craziness, Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls. Loads of other stuff too. My brain’s really gotta recharge after all that info.
