Oof, okay, here we go. So this week, the eShop’s got this game called Sunderfolk. It’s a co-op thing where you and your buddies can use your phones as controllers. Pretty neat, huh? It’s all about tactical RPG moves, and they’ve got these reimagined classes—like Bard and Berserker. I mean, just imagine arguing over who gets to be the Rogue. Classic.
Speaking of deals, there’s this massive sale happening on the eShop right now. It’s wild and ends soon—like, blink and you’ll miss it. They’ve got titles like Tunic and Vampire Survivors, going for cheap. I snagged a couple, because, well, who can resist a bargain, right?
And oh, if you’re into music, Nintendo just added Fire Emblem Engage to its music app. Sounds epic, right? It even got one of our hardcore Fire Emblem fans, Kirk, buzzing. We’re going to grill him about it on the next Pure Nintendo Podcast, so keep your ears open for that.
The list of new titles dropping this week is, frankly, long enough to wrap around a block. What are you playing? Anything catch your eye yet?
Nintendo eShop highlight
Sunderfolk – Seriously, this one’s a sleeper hit for game night. Turn-based tactical fun where your phone’s the controller and the Switch is basically the dungeon master. Up to four of you can team up—squabble over who’s the Bard, it’ll be worth it. And hey, don’t just quest; you can spruce up your village and bond with the folks there. Little RPG charm never hurt anybody, right?
Game Boy Advance – Nintendo Switch Online
Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones – So this kingdom, Renais, is a mess after some nasty attack, and you’re leading these royalty sibs, Eirika and Ephraim, to fix it. Use the terrain, wield your weapons smartly, and don’t let your soldiers eat dirt ‘cause they don’t respawn. For some reason, it’s really satisfying upgrading troops and saving the day. Maybe it’s just me.
Nintendo Music
Chorale of Heroes – Dive into the Fire Emblem Engage soundtrack on the Nintendo Music app. It’s got everything from soothing tunes to intense battle beats. Let the music take you to another world. Sounds dramatic, but seriously, it’s something else.
Activities
F-ZERO 99 1.6.0 Update – Zooming into view with new tracks and events. Fancy racing in the Ace League? Or trying out the Mini World Tour? Get ready for seven back-to-back races. Feels like a caffeine shot in game form, huh? And don’t forget that Creator’s Voice video on Hogwarts Legacy. Some behind-the-scenes magic for when you’re curious.
Nintendo eShop sales
Partner Spotlight Sale – Clock’s ticking to snag up to 50% off on Switch games. Hitting that sweet spot until April 27. Really, it’s a buffet of bangers. Do yourself a favor and check it out.
