Alright, so here’s the deal. There’s this new thing called Eldramoor: Haven in the Mist, and it’s like, blowing up on Kickstarter or something. I mean, it just went live at the end of June, and boom—over $100k already. Honestly, didn’t expect that kind of kick-off.
The folks behind this, Resolute Games, basically a bunch of ex-Orbus VR fans. Guess they missed Orbus or whatever, so they figured, “Why not make our own?” And here we are. Their Kickstarter went nuts just 1.5 hours after launching. They had a super tiny goal of $25k, which yeah, for a VRMMO with all kinds of classes, quests, you name it—it sounds a bit ambitious, right? But maybe it was just a clever trick to get some momentum going. Who knows?
So, their head honcho, Lynn Souza, was mentioning something about aiming for the same initial push as another game, Zenith. I guess that’s a thing people do now—goal-setting shenanigans? Anyway—wait, did I mention the cool stuff it’s promising?
They’ve got these stretch goals, which are like bonus goodies if they hit more funding. Stuff like a Bonfire healing system (what even is that?) and Earth and Air powers. And then there’s this thing about a new playable species—like, do we get to be squirrels or something? Just kidding. Probably.
Oh, and pets! They’re unlocking pet abilities at $125k. Not just fluffy, but like, they actually help you out with their own tricks. Sidekicks with skills? Love it.
Supposed to be out on Quest 3 and SteamVR by late 2026, but who knows with these timelines. The campaign officially wraps up July 24th, so there’s still some time for more pledges. Curious? Check it on Kickstarter if you wanna dive deeper.
